Year 2 – Hathern Primary School
The children have promised to do all the chores on Sunday! When we discuss SATs in the classroom we always refer to them as quizzes that allow the children to show off how clever they are and to show us all the things they can do.
The children have enjoyed acting as a doctor, nurse, patient or receptionist. Writing will be assessed through a wide range of pieces of independent writing from across the school year. We have been busy this week preparing some lovely gifts for our special mothers.

Homework In year 2 we have a slightly new way of doing homework. We have twenty-four morrag in year one this year, six girls and eighteen boys. During the next few weeks, year one will be learning about the human body.
We were working in small groups to give the bee-bots simple instructions and controlling them from one picture to another.
Tim spoke about what it is like to be an author and an illustrator. Homework is given out at the start of every half term as a grid. Please bear with us whilst we perfect this independent task! Year one took part in a Yoga session this week. During this half term we have been learning about the Tasi Fire of London. Spelling tests will take place on Friday mornings. Year 2 Autumn 2 Curriculum Letter.
